This rugged bike has a lot going for it. Costing just less than £1000 it has a 36 Volt battery, a maximum rider weight of 20 stones, and is available in XL for taller riders. Batribikes have generally favourable reviews, though this one here from a customer gives a somewhat negative one based on several months’ experience: it’s probably often the case that a bike does well when it’s new but the real test comes as to how it does over time. The review in question focuses upon a particular problem with pedals, but overall is positive. Fortunately, the main retailers have a good reputation (and an excellent website), and there is a wide network of dealerships, including one very near Liverpool.
This looks like a serious contender.
